This is a hybrid position, requiring both remote and in-person work, involving sitting and standing for various lengths of time and frequently driving for long distances.

Skills / Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. At least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience is required. Experience working with people experiencing homelessness and/or veterans is preferred. Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas driver’s license and evidence of auto liability insurance.Responsibilities:
The SSVF Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision to the Case Managers and Health Care Navigator/Employment Specialist. The Supervisor will provide direction and support to case managers as they serve the Veteran clients, as well as carry a small caseload of their own in the Amarillo area. The Supervisor will both train and ensure that case managers follow procedure and guidelines of the SSVF grant. The Supervisor will be responsible for leading case staffings, case conferencing, and other staff meetings. The Supervisor will also support a cohesive team mentality, encouraging partnership between team members for the benefit of the client. An important focus of the Supervisor will also be to expand the Council’s reach with other organizations in the area.
