Recovery Resource Council is seeking a collaborative, organized, and mission-driven professional to coordinate the Tarrant County Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) initiative. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing diverse partners together, facilitating meaningful conversations, and turning data into action that saves lives. The successful candidate will be a skilled relationship builder with strong project management and communication skills who is passionate about improving systems of care and reducing overdose deaths.
Competencies, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in public health, behavioral health, substance use disorder services, healthcare, criminal justice, coalition building, or related community programs.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary initiatives and facilitating meetings preferred.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, overdose prevention, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented systems of care.
  • Experience with grant-funded programs and familiarity with REDCap or similar database systems preferred.
Skills / Requirements
  • Strong organizational, project management, communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and facilitate meetings with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the Metroplex (primarily Tarrant County) with occasional statewide or out-of-state travel.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all activities of the Tarrant County Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) initiative.
  • Plan and facilitate multidisciplinary OFR meetings, including case review preparation, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare, public health, EMS, law enforcement, behavioral health, treatment, prevention, recovery, and community organizations.
  • Monitor implementation of OFR recommendations and support community workgroups.
  • Collaborate with the CDC Foundation data manager to support data collection, reporting, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, grant deliverables, and performance measures.
  • Represent Recovery Resource Council at meetings, coalitions, conferences, and community events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
