Recovery Resource Council is hiring a Full-Time Coalition Coordinator to lead community-based substance use prevention efforts for their Dallas community coalition. The coalition’s mission is to reduce youth misuse of alcohol, drugs, and other harmful substances in specific Dallas County zip codes. This is achieved by building a drug-free community where youth feel supported, empowered, and confident to make healthy decisions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience or working toward a degree in public health, social work, education, or related field may be considered.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills necessary.
- Community engagement or organizing experience is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
- Experience in data collection, social media, or podcasting a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with community stakeholders, youth, and coalition members.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate regular coalition meetings, community forums, town halls, and outreach events.
- Represent the coalition at community events and with local partners, acting as a liaison between the coalition and the public.
- Expand and diversify coalition membership to reflect the community.
- Conduct community assessments, gather data, and assist with evaluation and reporting.
- Maintain and manage digital communications, including social media, newsletters, and website content.
- Promote the coalition’s goals and prevention messaging across platforms and to diverse audiences.
- Assist in implementing evidence-based prevention strategies and initiatives that align with grant goals (e.g., DFC grant).
- Coordinate with school and youth-serving organizations to support youth engagement and education.
Salary: 41,000-46,000 Based on Experience
