Full Time Recovery Services Outpatient Counselor (Hybrid): Fort Worth, TX
Recovery Resource Council (RRC) is seeking to hire a full time Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to provide evidence based, individual and group counseling & education telehealth services for substance use disorder, in intensive/supportive outpatient treatment. This position involves some evening and weekend hours. Clients served will include those who meet diagnostic criteria for substance use disorder, may have co-occurring mental health or trauma related concerns, and meet clinical & financial criteria requirements for state HHSC funding. Cultural competency with Veterans, treatment courts, and/or Department of Family and Protective Services is a plus. This is primarily a Fort Worth remote position, providing telehealth services, with some work in person, at multiple RRC locations. Applicant may be asked to take a Predictive Index Survey before interviewing.
Duties and responsibilities:
Provides evidenced-based treatment and education to individuals seeking outpatient treatment for substance use disorder, using the Seeking Safety curriculum. All services provided will be Trauma Informed. Must be a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), that is “exempt” as defined by the Texas Commission on Alcohol & Drug Abuse. Full licensure is preferred, but LCDC - Clinical Interns (CI) who have at completed at least 2000 hours and successfully passed the LCDC exam, or other provisionally licensed clinicians under clinical supervision, may be considered.
